We left Las Vegas. We felt seedy and gross. We needed some extreme nature, the perfect anecdote for a night spent in the city of sin. So we went to the grand canyon. Although the makeup of the tourists was not all that different from that in Vegas, the scenery was outstanding. We stayed in Flagstaff AZ, we ate at a brewery, watched the celtics, slept in a totally fine hostel. NBD

After a long drive now we're in Texas. Stayed at a HOJO and were on our way to Austin where we intend to "keep it weird". Also we hit 222,222 in the diesel. 35mpg. NBD.
